Yesterday was a memorable day. I ended a complicated relationship which in hindsight shouldn't have lasted that long. My acupuncturist was right after all, I have high tolerance for pain. And I would admit complaining is something that I enjoy to a certain extent. Hahahaha.
We had a love-hate relationship. We had periodic arguments. Most of the time, I would compromise and give it another chance. But when the universe keeps on showing signs and you fail to see it, it will put you in a situation where you'd finally realize that things had to end.
And so Ondoy came and as what the universe had long wanted finally happened. I knew this relationship is not working anymore. In fairness, we've had good times. It was surprisingly easy though. Letting go can actually be a good thing.
Good riddance!
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Of Goodbyes and Old Friends
I guess old friends don't really say goodbye. The connection is always there. They're part of you after all. They're waiting for an opportune time to reconnect and the universe provides the energy for that. Remember that no good thing comes ahead of time (that's what my tarot card says).
Friends who suddenly reappear have a message to convey. And it's always the right time.
Although I don't really like surprises, this is the best time that they do so.
I take it as a sign from the universe that better days are coming. That my decisions for the past weeks are right after all.
Friends are a big part of my support group. When am down, they rah rah for me. That's how I felt when I got a surprising phone call yesterday. And just this morning, another old friend is suddenly giving me an update. Wow, how good can my life get?
Positive energies are all around. Am basking in it. Am in a happy place.
