If you feel like humming, then go on. My heart is singing. I feel good.
Every Sunday me and my cousin, Len, go to the sports center and try to keep fit. Sometimes, we hit the badminton court just so we can, even just for once a week (We know, it's not enough!), stretch out our bodies cocooned in front of a computer for at least the previous five working days.
We jog, run, leisure walk and brisk walk. I don't expect to lose even 5 pounds a month but it really doesn't matter.
What I am really after with these "fitness sessions" is the sensation that it gives my lazy body.
I feel more confident. I feel that am prepping my mind and body for another workweek. I feel an andrenaline rush. I feel that my mind has been defragmented.
The sense of accomplishment is unbelieveable. And mind you the effect on my skin is superb. No contest, exercise is still the best anti-aging potion.
So who cares if you lose 10 pounds or half a pound in a week? What really does matter is that you have made something out of your free time and it's for a good cause.
